Breastfeeding can be a beautiful experience, but it is an entirely new thing for you and your baby. Sometimes there are issues that arise during your journey, so it is important to get the support and guidance for your individual needs.
PRENATAL CONSULTATION
Congratulations on your pregnancy! This prenatal consult is wonderful for expectant parents to learn more about breastfeeding, set your feeding goals and build your confidence before birth. We will review your previous breastfeeding experience (if any), current medical history, provide education, tips and resources! At the end of our consultation, you’ll be armed with all the information you need to help alleviate stress, concerns and build your confidence!
$175* if not covered by insurance
Clients will receive a discount for lactation services once your baby arrives.
initial lactation consultation
During this in home session, we will start by reviewing mom and baby’s medical history, birth events and breastfeeding goals, work on latching and positioning, conduct a weighted feed, assess your baby for tension and oral function. At the end, you’ll have a detailed care plan that is personalized to you and your feeding goals. If necessary, you may be referred to specialists and other resources.

two weeks of text support after the consultation
follow up lactation VISIT
At your follow up home session, we will review your care plan and discuss any changes in your breastfeeding experience. We will conduct another weighted feed and continue to work on latching and positioning.
